What’s the Job?

We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Remote IT Operations Lead to own and evolve our internal IT systems in a fully distributed environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote-first organization, enjoys optimizing cloud-based tools, and takes pride in delivering seamless support and secure infrastructure to a growing team.

You’ll be our go-to for managing our IT ecosystem — from Google Workspace and device management to cloud cost optimization and security. You’ll build and maintain the systems that help our team stay productive, supported, and secure — all while laying the groundwork for future scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and administer our cloud-first internal IT environment, with a focus on Google Workspace, device policies, and identity access management.
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations, including internal help desk support, account provisioning/deprovisioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and optimize Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) to support collaboration, documentation, and internal workflows.
  • Create and maintain onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and secure experience for all team members.
  • Implement and oversee cybersecurity practices, including device compliance, MFA enforcement, and access controls.
  • Monitor and manage cloud service usage and costs (AWS, GCP, etc.), recommending optimizations as needed.
  • Support DevOps and cloud infrastructure needs, including CI/CD pipeline tooling and automation where needed.
  • Document internal processes and systems, enabling knowledge sharing and future team growth.
  • Be a trusted IT partner for the organization — balancing security, usability, and cost-efficiency.
