We aspire to empower coastal nations to lead the future of maritime knowledge and practice – building pathways where people can develop world-class mariner skills while staying rooted in their home territories.
We aspire to spark Indigenous entrepreneurship in technology -creating pathways for innovators to build, lead, and own the tech solutions of the future. Through programs like our paid internship initiative, Kishkayhta, we help emerging Indigenous talent gain industry experience, strengthen digital leadership, and accelerate their journey into the tech economy.
Internship Program.
Kishkayhta is a paid internship program that equips Indigenous learners with real tech experience, mentorship, and the skills needed to launch meaningful careers and entrepreneurial pathways.
In this artwork the Tree of Life and the Thunderbird both represent the growth that occurs when we strive to follow our dreams and visions. The tree and Thunderbird in the image are surrounded by a fruiting vine symbolizing the resulting abundance that occurs from obtaining an education. The moon and the stars above the Thunderbird represent following our dreams and how important it is to have a higher vision for our continued growth and development.
The Kishkayhta logo was created by Leah Marie Dorion, an interdisciplinary Métis artist. Pinerock Ridge Graphic Art & Design created the graphic-designed version of the logo. We thank them for this collaboration to highlight the Emergence of Dreams in our logo.
